| ![]() WHAT IS THE SEA SHOW ?The SEA SHOW is
a new project that gives a home and a name to the art forms
and methods that artists of today are constantly questioning, and
redefining in their quest for expression. In Seattle, a new breed of artist strives to exist and create on many levels. This urge to create manifests itself in many ways. While many may wonder what artists of today have in common, its their push to create art, in any way possible. |
MISSION OF THE SEA SHOW
We here at the show have a few simple objectives:
- Help promote and provide a larger platform for interdisciplinary artists
- Help define and give support to the emergence of new art movements
- Create opportunities for meaningful communication and collaboration
- Provide video & audio recording and editing free of charge to show artists
- Try to have a really good time while all of this is going on

Modern life, against the backdrop of a city that is changing as rapidly as a third world
country, is made all the more stark when a new, polished face is put on a city with an art
scene that is thriving - yet is pushed to its artistic and other limits when confronted with the
challenges of population growth and environmental changes. Watch
as we highlight the modern visions and ground breaking methods of
expression of interdisciplinary artists, and join us in our quest to
not only bring a the art community together, but bring cities
together, in support of the Arts.

HISTORY OF THE SEA SHOW
- Arte Vivant is the original name of this project, which was a pilot for a new online show for ON Networks, which was having a competition, the winner would get his show aired on their network. While the producer, Katherine Hernandez did not win the competition, the experience for everyone involved has been fun, exciting, and has injected momentum and energy into existing and new art and video projects.
- The host has continued to support show artists, and develop her technical skills, by becoming a producer at SCAN TV, getting trained in professional video production techniques, to further continue to support the artists who gave so generously to the show, by letting us into their world. They believed in us and we believe in them.
- The artists of the SEA SHOW can now air their work to the their audience through television as well as the internet. We here at the show strive to take it to another level, and are doing all we can to develop more significant opportunities in addition to visual services for the artists involved.
